I only just about managed to decrypt this, correct punctuation and
paragraphs work wonders you know! ;-)

You don't have to complete the game. If you walk into the marker of a
weekend (When the stats tell you it is a Saturday or Sunday) the
competition will work. There are posters in the gym that explain what
the competition is (It's a triathlon) and when it is available.

There is one at the lighthouse on the beach in Los Santos. These races are
quite tough but a handy tip is to punch anyone that tries to overtake you.
That's how I won the race anyway :)

I always find that using the rocket pack for the swimming race
helps..........

How about spawning a Vortex? Then you can get across in record time, and knock
everyone else's bikes into the water.

The other one is on the shore near the pier with the wheelchair on it, north
of LS. Yeah: weekends only, as far as I know.

I had no problem winning this, by the time I got the cycling stage I was
in last place (Due to CJ dating Helena he had no muscle) but overtook
everybody.

I'm not sure if it works for this as well, but there's a great cheat if
you're having trouble with the Chiliad Challenge races.
Start the race and try to keep up with the other racers (Sometimes
tricky, I know). When you get to the last checkpoint, stop a bit before
it and snipe the other racers who have already finished. Kill all of
them and you'll notice your position now says first. Get back on the
bike, finish the race, and you've won!

This works especially well on the Cobra Run, the CPU racers seem to
have a knack of not falling off the ramps :o(
